3rd AHCB Annual Pot Luck Dinner 2009
With the successful wrap up of this year's ever exciting Annual Pot Luck Dinner (APLD), the Hillgrove Band's alumni network celebrates yet another flagship event of the year dubbed to have once again liven up the community spirit, albeit with a relatively small attendance.
As we move along the timeline, we'll gradually, as we always had, discover some little or huge changes everyone of us is embracing for the battle of life's desires. We'll move on to becoming a community of diversity and ethnicity, with more members at-large getting near or into their respective professions, and starting a family as some of them had done.
At this stage of developement, it shows that the development we have come thus far is promising. Firstly, the club maintained its presence for the forth consecutive years since February 2006. All of our former members come together on this website for a little session of reconnection and networking opportunities. Personal development wise, all of us are a tad different with an exagerated relation to our Sec 1 faces many donkey years ago.
Along with the development of the upcoming Hillgrove Alumni Association in 2010 supported by the school's management, the alumni for the band will surface together with the general rest for more fun-loving activities with our fellow friends and aquaintance back at our alma-mater. Please visit the facebook group at Hillgrove Alumni Association for more information.
Upcoming: Hillgrove Alumni Association
The official graduates body of Hillgrove Secondary School under the Parents Alumni Link (PAL)
Hillgrove Secondary School, over the years, has had many changes made to improving the overall objective and experience for all its stakeholders, such as their teachers, staff and students. Recently, under the new management headed by the new Principal Kenneth Lee (Mr), the school has made a decision to form a long-overdue official alumni body. The proposal team will consist mainly of the former band members such as Zhenyu, Shu Qin, Pei Shan, Edwin, Shi Min; along with the 2nd batch council board committee members Yee Kiat and Yong Qing. Mdm Lee (formally Ms Lee Li Lian, Current maths level head) is heading the team as advisor, together with the school's management, including our legendary Mdm Khong.
Look out for the developments as we work hard to bring the best experience permissible to link up the rest of the alumni!
AHCB's New Website
An improvement to the previous. New website, new begining.
Firstly, we would like to thank all of you who have all along supported us. Your support is greatly appreciated. As promised, we have moved and will do our best to keep the website updated.
We will be facing challenges as members are getting busier with they own work, hence lesser time to help out. Some are involved in National Service while others are involved in school activities and are busy in their schedules. However, we will try our very best that AHCB is well maintained all the time with the best possible solutions.
We hope to see your fullest and continual support in the years to come!
